Benito Cruz Moreno, 37, Bloomfield, died Thursday, May 24, 2012, at the University of Louisville Hospital as the result of injuries sustained in a construction accident. He was a native of Mexico, an employee of Raisor Construction and was of the Catholic faith. Survivors include his wife, Analrma Juarez Cruz; two daughters, Joselin Cruz and Mariana Cruz, both of Bloomfield; his parents, Ezequiel and Maria Villalon, Mexico; two sisters, Maria Cruz Moreno, Bloomfield, and Griselda Hernandez, Bardstown; and a brother, Miguel Angel Moreno, Mexico. The funeral will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Houghlin Funeral Home, Bloomfield, with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery. The Rev. Michael Wimsatt will officiate. Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Houghlin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
