Constance Marie "Connie" Cissell, 57, of Bardstown, died Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at her residence.

She was born Sept. 25, 1955, in Nelson County and was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in New Hope.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmie T. and Louise Cecil Riggs.
Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Gary Jude Cissell; a son, Travis (Gayle) Cissell, of Balltown; four daughters, Kerri (Dennis) Bowling, of Howardstown, Jill (Ray) Griffith, of Bardstown, Molly (Rob) Keesy, of New Haven, and Amy (Brandon Robinson) Cissell, of Lexington; six grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; eight sisters, Bettye Lou (Boot) Masterson, Shirley (Eddie) Hutchins, Pat (Doc) Bartley, Ginger (Don) Ayers and Sara Riggs, all of New Hope, Lois (Jerry) O'Bryan, of New Haven, Marinel (Junie) Clark, of Cox's Creek and Sister Margaret Rae Riggs, SCN, of Nazareth; three brothers, Jim (Edith) Riggs, of Louisville, Jackie (Mary Ann) Riggs, of Bardstown, and Dickie Riggs, of Cox's Creek.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday, April 27, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 104 Church St., in New Hope, with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Ken Fortener will be the celebrant.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Thursday, April 25, and 10-8 p.m. Friday, April 26, at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, in Loretto with a prayer service at 6 p.m. by the Rev. Deacon Eddie Hutchins.
