David A. Guss, 59, Bardstown, died Thursday May 3, 2012, at his residence. He was born July 2, 1952, in Chicago, employed with Evans Construction Company, a U.S. Army Veteran of Vietnam and of the Catholic faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Guss and Adeline Jankevich Guss. Survivors include his wife, Nancy Guss, Bardstown; a son, Daniel (Lauren) Guss, Illinois; two grandchildren, Elise Guss and Emma Guss; a brother, Gary (Linda) Guss, Louisville; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at Barlow Funeral Home, with cremation to follow. The Rev. Dixie Kimberlin will officiate. Visitation will be 1-6 p.m. Sunday and 9-11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
