Donald Coulter, 79, of Bardstown, died Sunday, April 21, 2013, at his residence. He was born June 27, 1933, in Nelson County, was an Army veteran, retired from General Electric and was a member of Bloomfield Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by a son, Donald Scott Coulter; a daughter, Robin Lynn Coulter; five brothers, Willie Lee Coulter, James Coulter, Benny Coulter, Ronnie Coulter and Gary Coulter; and his parents, Willie and Lena Newton Coulter.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Downs Coulter; a son, Trevor (Melanie Ann) Coulter, of Bardstown; two grandchildren, Annabelle Lynn Coulter and Austin Blake Lyvers; a brother, Kenneth (Nila Jane) Coulter, of Bloomfield,
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 23, at Clark and Houghlin Funeral Home with burial in Bardstown Cemetery. Brother Kevin Coulter will officiate.
Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Monday, April 22, at Clark and Houghlin Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Gurthie Opportunity Center.
