Eva Lillian Moreland, 97, of Bardstown, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2018, at Colonial Signature Health in Bardstown. She was born Sept. 12, 1920, in Huntington, W. Va., to the late Gutherie and Hannah Woody Moreland. Eva worked at the former Kenny Shoe Factory in West Virginia, and was a member of Wickland Baptist Church and the Seekers Sunday School Class.
She is survived by her nephew, Paul (Margaret) Scites, of Bardstown; great-nieces, Lisa (Jay) Allen, of Bardstown, Paula Jean "PJ" (Richard) Burns, of Nicholasville; great- great-nieces, Lorie (Nathan) Petrie, of Lexington, Lydia Kay Burns, of Louisville; great-great-nephews, Trey (Sara) Allen, of Louisville, and Andy Burns of Nicholasville.
The funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, at Houghlin- Greenwell Funeral Home with Brother Dennis King officiating. Interment will be in Bardstown Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, at the funeral home.
