George McAllister, 59, Bardstown, passed away Monday, June 18, 2012. Born Oct. 22, 1953, in Pittsburgh, Pa., he was an employee of Tower Automotive. He was preceded in death by his parents, Larry J. and Stella McAllister; and a sister, Nancy Gonzalez. Survivors include his wife, Virginia McAllister, Bardstown; two daughters, Coleen McAllister, Chicora, Pa., and Deen Marie McAllister, Monaca, Pa.; two step-daughters, Nellie Marie Neachum and Courtney Neachum, both of Kalamazoo, Mich.; a sister, Irish Ondick of Pittsburgh, Pa.; four brothers, Larry J. McAllister, Bethel Park, Pa., John W. McAllister, Oakdale, Pa., Thomas J. McAllister, Cranberry Township, Pa., and Patrick J. McAllister of Pittsburgh, Pa.; two grandchildren, Ashley McAllister and Nichole McAllister, both of Pennsylvania; and two step-grandchildren, Trevor Michael Neachum and Joseph Ellen Shilts, both of Michigan. His memorial service will be noon Saturday, June 30, 2012, at Barlow Funeral Home. The Rev. Doug Alexander will officiate. Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
