Glen Thomas Richardson, 56, of Bardstown, died Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. He was a native of Bardstown, a graduate of St. Catharine College, an employee of Barton's 1972 Distillery for 34 years, where he was the traffic and shipping manager. He was a former employee of Lionstone and Kraft Foods, a sergeant of the U.S. Army Reserve and former president of the Bardstown Nelson County Youth football program where he also served as a coach. He was an avid fan of UK football and basketball, loved golf and was a member of the Monday night Boone's Butcher shop league, loved traveling and was of the Christian faith.

He was the son of the late Tom and Isabelle Price Richardson.
He was preceded in death by his mother- and father- in-law, Mona and Hamilton (Daygo) Hutchins; two sisters, Wanda Woodrome and Donna Richardson; and a brother, William Casey.
Survivors include his loving wife of 35 years, Lana Hutchins Richardson; a son, Nathan Richardson, who he was so proud of, of Bardstown; two brothers, Mike Richardson, of Chaplin, and Kenny Casey, of Waddy; three sisters, Betty Swope, of Mount Washington, Dorothy Finley, of Louisville, and Irene Pinkston, of Lebanon.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 30, at Clark and Houghlin Funeral Home with cremation to follow.
Visitation will be 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday, March 29, at Clark and Houghlin Funeral Home.
