Larry Curtsinger, 61, of Bloomfield, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2017, at Baptist Health in Louisville. He was born Oct. 18, 1956, in Chaplin to the late Louis and Margie Chesser Curtsinger. Larry was an auto mechanic for the former Wilson Bro's. Dealership in Bardstown and a member of the New Hope Tabernacle in Taylorsville.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Elizabeth Ann, Linda Lou, Brenda Sue and Geraldine Curtsinger; and a great-grandson, Lincoln Ortega.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Hardin Curtsinger; five daughters, Stacey McGuffin, of Chaplin, Angie (Earl) Chandler, of Elizabethtown, Stephanie Milburn, of New Haven, Leslie Ortega, of Lawrenceburg, Katie (Jarod) Wallace, of Glasgow; a son, Russ Hooper, of Bardstown; a sister, Janice (Rick) Coffey, of Taylorsville; 16 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, at the Open Door Christian Center. Sister Mavis Bennett and Bro. Joe Vires will officiate. Interment will be in Highview Cemetery.
Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Friday at the Open Door Christian Center, 2345 Taylorsville Road in Bloomfield.
