Levon Coulter, 90, of Bardstown, died Friday, Aug. 4, 2017, at Flaget Memorial Hospital. She was born Aug. 21, 1926, in Nelson County to the late Robert and Evelyn Jenkins Satterly. Levon was a retired bookkeeper for the former Coulter's Shell Station in Bloomfield and along with her late husband, founded Coulter's Towing. She was a member of Bloomfield Baptist Church.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, R.C. Coulter, and her daughter, Sharon Parkerson. ?
Survivors include her son, Gary W. (Sandy) Coulter, of Bardstown; her brother, Ernest Wilman Satterly, of Mount Washington; and two grandchildren, Lance (Kelli) Coulter and Wesley Parkerson.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8, at Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home, 1475 New Shepherdsville Road. Bro. Leland Parks will officiate. Interment will be in Highview Cemetery.
Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Monday .
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contribution to the Gideon's International or the Bloomfield Baptist Church Building Fund.
