Mary A. "Bobbie" O'Daniel Cox, 86, of Bardstown, passed away Friday, Aug. 3, 2018, at her residence. She was born Jan. 29, 1932, in Lebanon to the late Virgil and Trixie Aldridge McGill. Bobbie and her late husband William Adrian O'Daniel were the former owners of Tom Pigs Restaurant for more than 20 years and she was of the Catholic faith.
Besides her parents and first husband, she was preceded in death by her second husband, Otis Cox; and a son, James Dennis O'Daniel.
She is survived by four grandchildren, Heather Jesse, Adrianne O'Daniel VanMeter, James Dylan O'Daniel and James Dustin O'Daniel, all of Louisville; five great-grandchildren, her daughter-in-law, LeeAnn O'Daniel, of Louisville, and a nephew whom she raised, Columbus O'Bryan, of Bardstown.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, at Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home with interment in St. Thomas Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, and Wednesday, Aug. 8, after 9:00am until time of service at Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home, 1475 New Shepherdsville Road, in Bardstown
