Mary Jan Paddock, 80, Bardstown, died Friday, June 8, 2012, at Hardin Memorial Hospital, Elizabethtown. She was born April 8, 1932, in Dardanelle, Ark., was a former resident of Fort Smith, Ark., and moved to Bardstown in 2008. She retired from Bank One in Rockford, Ill., after 15 years of service and was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Fort Smith in Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Albert Paddock; and her parents, Greer and Vera Blevins Sugg. Survivors include a son, Stephen (Patti) Paddock, Lake Villa, Ill.; a daughter, Susan (Tom) Franke, Bardstown; five grandchildren, Joseph Franke, Michael Franke, Ryan Paddock, Hanna Fritz and Katie Fritz; and four great-grandchildren, Maddy Kahn, Toby Paddock, Katie Hagan and Bradley Hagan.
