Tandy Lee Welch, 46, of Bardstown, died Sunday, March 17, 2013, at the University of Louisville Hospital. He was born Aug. 15, 1966, in Nelson County, was an employee for Cook Construction, a former employee of American Greetings, a member of New Salem Baptist Church and an avid sportsman who loved to hunt and fish.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Earl "Bill" Welch Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Pamela Masden Welch; two daughters, Michelle Emerson, of Cox's Creek, and Brittany Ziminski, of Lebanon Junction; a son, Cody Ziminski, of Lebanon Junction; three grandchildren, Courtney Hillard, Hannah Hillard and Maddilyn Helm; his mother, Linda Whitney Welch, of Bardstown; and two sisters, Debra (Troy) Runner, of Chaplin, and Jessica Welch, of Bardstown.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 20, at Cox's Creek Baptist Church with burial in St. Gregory Church Cemetery. Bro. Jim Bratcher will officiate.
Visitation is after 9 a.m. Wednesday, March 20, at the church until time of service at 11 a.m.
