William Eli Fenwick, 17, New Haven, died Sunday July 1, 2012, at his residence in Howardstown. He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Howardstown. Eli was an exceptional student, on the "A" honor roll at Bethlehem High School, where he was going to be entering into his senior year. At Bethlehem he was a member of the National Honor Society, also recognized with his achievements in French and maintained a record of perfect attendance three years he attended there. He was an avid outdoorsman, who lovedÊhunting and riding dirt bikes. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jerry Fenwick. Eli is survived by his mother and stepfather Kim (Kenny) Armstrong, New Haven; his father, Dennis Fenwick, New Haven; a sister, Abby Fenwick; a brother, Lucas Fenwick, both of New Haven; two stepsisters, Amanda (Stephen) Montgomery and Sarah Armstrong; maternal grandparents, Lee and Beverly Newton, New Haven; paternal grandmother, Evelyn Mattingly Fenwick, Bardstown; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The funeral was 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church, New Haven, with the Rev. Ben Brown officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Ann Catholic Church, 7500 Howardstown Road, New Haven KY 40051.Joseph Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven is in charge of arrangements.
