Thomas Jerry Hutchins, 79, of Mount Washington, died Tuesday March 4, 2014, at his residence. He was born April 2, 1934, in Nelson County, retired from Reliance Universal, and avid car restorer, member of Whiskey City Cruisers, and of the Catholic faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Mary Hutchins; and three brothers, Charles Hutchins, James Hutchins, and Bruce Hutchins.
Survivors include two daughters, Pam Byrd, of Portsmouth, Va., and Georgeann Davidson, of Mount Washington; two sons, Jerry Lee Hutchins, of Taylorsville, and Brad Hutchins, of Bardstown; three brothers, J.T. Hutchins, of Brandenburg, and Virgil Hutchins and J.B. Hutchins, both of Bardstown; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 8, 2014, at Barlow Funeral Home, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Friday, March 7, and 9-11 a.m. Saturday, March 8, at Barlow Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may go to Veteran's Hospital in Louisville.
