Dorothy Seay Kays, 97, of Bardstown, died Saturday, April 19, 2014, at Spring View Hospital in Lebanon.

A native of Washington County, she was born Aug. 11, 1916, to the late Harvey and Molly Hardin Seay.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Frankfort, a 1936 graduate of Springfield High School and a retired employee of the Union Underwear Company of Frankfort.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie S. Kays, on Oct. 20, 1982; and a brother, William Seay.
Survivors include two sons, Michael L. Kays and his wife, Connie, of Springfield, Pat Kays and his wife, Susan, of Bardstown; a daughter, Barbara Riley, of Avon, Ind.; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and three great-great- grandchildren.
The funeral will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 23, at Carey & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. James Carroll, pastor of the Parkway Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Willisburg.
Serving as pallbearers will be grandsons, Chris Kays, Timothy Riley, Carl Riley, Jr., Ty Kays, David Kays and Jonathan Kays.
