Dorothy Ann Nalley, 67, of Bardstown, lost her battle to cancer Thursday, April 17, 2014, at University of Louisville Hospital. She was the former Dorothy Cox. She was born April 1, 1947, in Cox's Creek, was a homemaker and a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church. She enjoyed the outdoors. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing horseshoes with her family and friends. She loved her dogs Tippy and Trixie.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert "Pete" and Laura Ethel Harley Cox, 2 sisters, Mary Ethel Hilbert and Janie Chesser.
Survivors include her husband, Donald "Donnie" Nalley; two sisters, Lois Cox Gordon, of Fairfield, Nancy Cox Cahoe, of Bardstown; three brothers, Joseph "Joe" (Charlotte Shields) Cox and Robert "Bobby" (Mary Helen) Cox, both of Bardstown, and Billy Ray Cox, of Mount Washington, and caregiver and special friend, Linda Combs, along with several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 22, at Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home with burial in Bardstown Cemetery. Brother David Walker will officiate.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday April 21, and after 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 22, at the funeral home.
Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
