Haley Nicole Dues, 11, of Springfield, died Friday, May 16, 2014, at Kosair Children's Hospital in Louisville. She was born April 2, 2003, in Lebanon, a fourth-grader at Bardstown Elementary and of the Catholic faith.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, John Wayne Dues, Sr.; her cousin William Wade III; and great-grandparents, Billy and Bonnie Wade, Mary Catherine Walls Hooper and Leon and Margie Clark Donahue.
Survivors include her parents, Rhonda Wade and John Wayne Dues Jr., of Springfield; a sister, Tessa Marie Dues, of Springfield; her maternal grandparents, Joseph Darrel and Darlene Donahue Wade, of Cox's Creek; and her paternal grandmother, Patricia Ann Dues of Willisburg.
Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 21, at the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral with burial in St. Joseph Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, with evening prayers and Wednesday 8:30-10:30 a.m. at Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home.
