Loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, died peacefully on October 28, 2012. She was born November 14, 1925 in Los Angeles, CA to Maude and Harold Kendrick. After graduating Bonita High School, Virginia attended Chaffey College and later LaVerne College. She married Dr. Eugene St. Clair and they celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary this past June. They lived in LaVerne and Claremont where they raised their four children. Virginia was very involved in her church, and enjoyed cooking, sewing, reading, camping, hiking, laughter and chocolate! She is survived by her husband, four children, six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, two sisters and two brothers. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Pilgrim Congregational Church in Pomona. Virginia wanted donations made to Lewis Cancer Center, PVCH.

I miss you, my momasita. I truly enjoyed visiting, staying with, and reading to you the many times I came to see you. Your suffering is over; ours will take time. I will always love you.

We will miss Virginia dearly! She has been a very close friend to our family for as long as I can remember. Some of the very first pictures my parents have of me include the St Clair family - Virigina, Gene and the children, as they came along. Our two families date back to my folks college days - we grew up together and had many, many fun times together both at home and at Pilgrim Congregational Church over the years. One of my favorite memories of Virginia is when she taught our Girl Scout Troup how to properly make a bed, I still use her method to fold those corners to this day. I will remember her with affection and love. The Landaal family and I send along our deepest sympathies to all the family.
