Kent DeWalt Obituary

Kent DeWalt

Born October 8, 1954 in Miles City, Montana to Frank and Arlene DeWalt, passed away peacefully after his long battle with cancer with his family by his side on January 14, 2013. Kent will be remembered as a "Stand up Guy" and a free spirit who always enjoyed life to the fullest. Kent was a loving son, brother, uncle, husband and friend to all who knew him. He also leaves a very special friend, Marie, who he loved and was his best friend through his battle. With her he found Jesus and how to truly dance his way through the rest of his life. Kent's free spirit took him to his final career of "trucking" and we know his final journey is on his way to our Lord. He will be truly missed by his loving family and friends. A celebration of his life will be on February 23, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. at Recreation Park Golf Course in Long Beach. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Huntington Hospital's Lung Cancer program. Please sign the guestbook at www.presstelegram.com/obits.
