She also worked side-by-side with her husband at their family business, Inland Powder Coating, in Ontario. Debbie took great pleasure coaching her two children in soccer and softball for many years and she was a talented softball player herself and enjoyed playing on women's leagues as well as coed leagues with her husband and family. Breeding and showing Newfoundland dogs was another passion and she accomplished her goal of producing numerous brown champions. She also enjoyed mind-teaser word games and traveling all over the world with her family and friends. Debbie was a lifelong member of the Church of Latter Day Saints, Alta Loma Ward.
Family and friends will gather at the Flatten home on Saturday, November 10th from 5 to 7pm for a remembrance memorial and celebration of her life.
