BRENIER, Donald R.
Donald R. Brenier, beloved husband, daddy, son, brother and friend, died Friday, January 31, after a long illness. He was 48.
A native of Whittier, he graduated from Whittier High School and earned an undergraduate degree from Cal State Chico. He continued his education, graduating with an MBA in
business from Pepperdine University. He worked at Advantage Sales & Marketing developing and introducing products to the DIY (Do It Yourself) industry in the U.S., Canada and Mexico along with other specialized markets.
Don earned a reputation as a skilled handyman who was never without a project, much to the delight of friends and family who called on him often. Don also loved the great outdoors and spent as much time as he could biking, golfing, hiking, fishing, scuba diving and rafting. His vacations to Truckee and Tahoe with family were always the best and full of adventure and stories for years thereafter.
His greatest joy was loving and parenting his three children, Haydan, Bronte and Gavin. He and his wife, Christina, are proud of their children's gentleness and bravery. He is survived by parents Bruce and Catherine Brenier, his sister Michelle Asher and brother Paul Brenier, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
His love and kindness leaves a legacy of the many hundreds of soul's he touched during his too-short life time.
Funeral services will be at 10am Thursday, February 6, 2014 at St. Bruno Catholic Church located at 15740 Citrustree Rd., Whittier, CA. Interment will follow at Loma Vista Memorial Park, 701 E. Bastanchury Rd., Fullerton, CA.
In lieu of flowers, a trust to benefit the children has been established at Friendly Hills Bank, 16011 Whittier Blvd, Attn: Team Don Trust.
