VOGEL, Marjorie Helen

Marjorie Helen Vogel, 87 passed away Monday March 11, 2013 at home in Medford, Oregon. She had previously lived in Pasadena, California for most of her adult life.

She was born to the late Alvin and Hazel (Mennie) Anderson, March 5, 1926 in Edmore, North Dakota. She graduated from Devils Lake High School. She married the late Godfred Vogel on Nov. 26, 1949 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They lived together in Pasadena.

Marjorie worked as an Administrative Assistant for the U. S. Forest Service for 37 years until she retired in 1981.

She was an active member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Pasadena for many years. She was an avid reader, enjoyed crocheting, loved her trips to casinos, and traveling to other countries.

Marjorie is survived by her daughter Susan Roberts ( Jimmy) of Medford, Oregon; granddaughters, Shelby Moffitt (Levi) and Courtney Roberts (Jeremy Camp); great-grandchildren Riley and Wyatt Moffitt; sisters Ruth Bednarz(Len) and Beverly Nelson; brother Leonard Anderson (Kay); seven nieces and six nephews. Preceded by Godfred Vogel (husband); sister Lorene Weber; brother Russell Anderson.

Arrangements are being handled by Conger-Morris, Medford, Oregon; service and burial by Rose Hills Mortuary, Whittier, California. Services will be Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at 1 p.m.
