Christina Louise Garcia
Loving wife, mother, grandmother sister, aunt and friend. Passed away on October 31, 2012 in Fontana after a long illness.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Felix (Sam), her daughter Anne (Kenny) Noe of N. Las Vegas, NV, sons Sam of Menifee, Robert (Patty) of Riverside, Philip (Tonya) of Victorville, David (Irene) of Norwalk, Michael of Bloomington, Anthony (Jennifer) and Lawrence (Vera) of Redlands, 11 grandchildren, Nicole, Alyce, Elizabeth, David, Matthew (Bridget), Christina, Arleen, Joseph, Blake, Jessica, and Janelle, 2 great grandchildren, Aaron and Mackenzie, 3 sisters, Teresa (Ernie) Paramo, Annette Gray, Linda Delgado, 2 brothers, Manuel Gonzales, and Paul (Norma) Gonzales, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was born Dec. 19, 1934 in Redlands to John and Tomasa Gonzales. She attended and graduated from Colton High School. She married the love of her life, Felix (Sam) in 1954. They lived several years in La Jolla, CA, then moved to Bloomington. She became a certified nurses assistant, and worked at several medical facilities, including Loma Linda Community Hospital. She worked as a clinic assistant at Kaiser Permanente in Fontana for 19 years, where she retired from in 1997.
She was an active and faithful parishioner of St. George Catholic Church in Fontana for many years.
She devoted her life to taking care of her family and everyone around her, with unconditional love and faith.
She will be missed greatly by all her family and friends, and everyone she touched throughout her life.
Viewing will be held on Nov. 8, 2012 at Green Acres Memorial Park and Mortuary, 11715 Cedar Ave. Bloomington, from 4-8pm, with a rosary at 6pm. A funeral Mass will be held Nov. 9, 2012 at St. George Catholic Church, 17895 San Bernardino Ave. in Fontana at 10am, followed by interment at Green Acres Cemetery.
