Called to be with the Lord on June 22, 2012 to join her husband, Genaro and daughter, Nancy, who predeceased her.
Pepper was a wonderful, caring and loving individual. In her late 40s, early 50s, she enjoyed playing softball, both women's softball and co-ed softball. In her early 60s through her early 80s, she loved to entertain people. She joined a senior center and entertained people by dancing El Jarabe Tapitio or dancing country western. She also would sing with a choir at the senior center. What she enjoyed the most was a simple trip to Las Vegas and time spent with her family.
Pepper was born and grew up in the City of San Fernando. She lived there all of her life. She met and married the love of her life, Genaro Saenz Delgado, in 1946. They had 12 children, Genaro, Jr., Nancy, Richard, Danny, Henry, Helen, Peter, George, Rita, Frances, Antoinette and Benjamin. She was blessed with 23 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Her family was her pride and joy.
No amount of writing can fully express the great life she lead, how much she was truly loved by her family and all the lessons of life she taught us. She was truly a remarkable, loving and caring mother who will be deeply missed by all.
