Margaret worked for several designers of haute couture, including her longest stint with William Pearson, Inc. where she transitioned from modeling to fashion marketing and managed the designer's runway shows in Los Angeles, Dallas, and New York. She made a career change in 1970 to commercial marketing and made a name for herself as Marketing Director for Hahn Corporation's Montclair Plaza, Puente Hills Mall, and the Century City Shopping Plaza. She later became Marketing Manager for McGuire Thomas Partners in Los Angeles during the company's expansion in Los Angeles and construction and opening of the Library Tower, now U.S. Bank Tower.
