Herbert Earl Williams passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2012 in Apple Valley, CA
from terminal lung cancer. He is survived by his family and many wonderful friends: wife Margaret deceased; daughters Ann Williams of Laguna Niguel, CA; Robin Linneman, her husband Tom, children Nicholas and Kathryn of Apple Valley, CA; Marllyn Williams of Hesperia, CA, daughter Colette deceased, Melinda Williams of Long Beach, and brother Bill of Alhambra, CA. He was born in Los Angeles, CA on June 4, 1927 and attended school there. Graduated from U.C.L.A. in January of 1950. He was employed on the professional staff of the San Gabriel Valley Council of the Boy Scouts of America where anyone wishing to make a charitable donation may consider. Address is 3450 E. Sierra Madre Blvd., Pasadena, CA 91107. Joined family business at Alhambra Typewriter in 1957 and retired in 1992. Member of the Alhambra Kiwanis Club for 34 years and was club president from 1976-77. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 2 at 11AM where there will be a gravesite ceremony where his wife Margaret is buried at Resurrection Cemetery in Montebello, CA. Address is 966 N. Potrero Grande Dr. Immediately following is a luncheon at Charley Brown's Restaurant in Rosemead, CA. Address is 909 San Gabriel Blvd, telephone # 626-288-6001. He was a wonderful man, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and good friend and will be missed greatly but always remembered with much love.
