HERLINDA CARRILLO

Herlinda "Mama Linda" was born March 12, 1935. She was the daughter of Vidal and Anacleta (Ortiz) Carrillo. Herlinda is survived by seven children, Daniel (Zita) Carrillo, Vidal Carrillo, Esther (Angel) Carrillo-Santiago, Sylvia (Abel) Gonzalez, Alfredo Carrillo, Julie (Jaime) Hernandez and Lydia Carrillo; brother, Rafael Carrillo; a sister, Esperanza Carrillo; grandchildren, Herlinda Carrillo, Pablo Carrillo, Arthur Carrillo, Daniel Carrillo, Jr., Esther Mendez, Maureen Martinez, Tinamarie Manjarrez, Abel Gonzalez Jr., Christopher Hernandez, Alyssa Gonzalez, Serena Hernandez, Andres Carrillo, Amanda Hernandez, Kelton Santiago, Alexander Hernandez and Laurel Carrillo. In addition, 22 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Paul Carrillo; and two sons, Angel and Armando Carrillo.
Vigil service will be held at Mission Hills Catholic Mortuary, 11160 Stranwood Ave., Mission Hills, on Friday, November 30, 2012, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at St. John the Baptist de la Salle Parish, 16555 Chatsworth St., Granada Hills, on Saturday, December 1, 2012, 9:00 a.m. Burial will be in San Fernando Mission Cemetery.
