JOSEPHINE MARY SANNASARDO
Born August 17, 1923 in Brooklyn, N.Y., died November 1, 2012, surrounded by family at Kaiser Hospital Woodland Hills.
Preceded in death by father Joe Greco, mother Jenny Greco, husband Frank Sannasardo, and baby daughter Maria Sannasardo, she is now peacefully resting in the arms of Jesus. Survived by brother Nick Greco, daughter Marie Fagan and Marie's partner Bill Cordeiro, son Joe Sannasardo and daughter-in-law Barbara Sannasardo, grandson Thomas Sannasardo and Thomas' fiancée Jennifer Malcolm, as well as many other loved family members and friends.
Josephine was a caring and loving person and mother to many "adopted" daughters. She touched many lives with her compassionate ways. If you had a problem, she was always willing to lend a sympathetic ear, was never judgmental, and served as a prayer warrior for those in need. She enjoyed attending TOPS meetings each week and was the designated caller, greeter, and hugger for the Simi Valley Chapter. She also volunteered many years working with those at the Simi Valley Senior Center with the Volunteers 4 You organization. Always giving of her time, love and support, she touched many lives
Viewing and Rosary Tuesday, November 6th, 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Reardon Mortuary, 2636 Sycamore Drive, Simi Valley, CA (805) 526-6677. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 7th, 9:00 a.m., at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, 5670 Cochran Street, Simi Valley, CA. Interment to follow.
