Sister Nancy Perez
59, went to be with Our Lord peacefully on September 14, 2012, at YRMC surrounded by her sister Toni, and beloved friends. She was born on September 18, 1952 in San Bernadino, CA
In 1970 Sister Nancy entered religious life at the age of 17 with the Sisters Servants of the Poor Order in Chihuahua, MX. She returned to San Bernardino and worked at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish and ran the Our lady Our Lady of Guadalupe day care. She lived her life for Christ, serving as a Religious Education Director for St. Francis Parish in Yuma. She previously served as DRE in Tucson with St. Monica's Parish and Sacred Heart Parish in Parker, AZ.
She was preceded in death by her father, mother, 3 brothers and 1 sister.
She is survived by her sister, Toni, of Colton, CA; brother, Frank of Medford, OR and numerous nieces, nephews, cosuins and friends. As well as sisters of the order and Sister Celia of Somerton.
Visitation 4-8, Rosary 6:30, Sunday 9/23/2012 at Montecito Memorial Park, 3520 E. Washington, Colton, Ca. 92324. Mass Monday. Sept. 24, 2012 at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 1430 W. 5th St., San Bernardino, Ca. 92411. Interment: Our Lady Queen of Peace-Montecito Memorial Park, Colton. Reception to follow.
