Norma June Quinby MacDougall

Went to Heaven to be with the Lord November 6, 2012 in Long Beach, California where she lived. She left this earth peacefully in her sleep. Norma was born January 10, 1925 in Long Beach, CA. She graduated from Long Beach Poly High School. Norma raised her family in Long Beach where she lived her entire life. She worked at Red Cross during WWII and spent several years as a choir director and soloist at Atlantic Avenue Methodist Church. She was a Brownie and Girl Scout troop leader for her daughter Lynn. Norma was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death in 1989 by her husband of 46 years William "Mac" MacDougall. Survived by her children: Drew MacDougall, Brent MacDougall and Lynn Tolbert. Grandchildren: Greg Berry, Kelly Wieczorek and David MacDougall. Great Grandchildren: Sean Wieczorek, Brandon Wieczorek, Antonio Berry and Adrian Berry. Known as "Grandma Angel," she had a great love and passion for her family and friends and will be missed by all. Norma will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Parks and Mortuaries, 4471 Lincoln Avenue, Cypress, CA. Church of our Fathers Chapel, Wednesday, November 14, at 9:00 A.M.
