Patricia Jeanne Moser
Patricia Jeanne Moser departed this earth for her Eternal Home on October 31, 2012 after a long and courageous struggle with Parkinson's Disease. vShe was born February 17,1942 in Newton, Kansas to Warren and Jeanette Schroeder (nee Taylor). She is survived by her husband Donald Moser of Upland, CA, son William "Scott" Moser (Sara) and granddaughter Kinsey Moser of Burke, VA. She also leaves behind two brothers, William (Jane) of Marion NC, and Myron (Peggy) of Hagerstown, MD. She loved life with a passion and lived it to the fullest for as long as she was able. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, always putting family first. Having a passion for art, she pursued and obtained a BS in education, majoring in art and art education from Minot State College ND at the age of 42, graduating Cum Laude. She taught art and art education in Colorado public schools until having to retire for medical reasons in 1996. Her first love in art was oil painting at which she became quite accomplished. She also liked jewelry making, sculpture and pottery making. She enjoyed numerous outdoor activities including hiking, bicycling, and camping to name a few. One of her most memorable hikes was a Llama Trek in the mountains of Colorado with a hiking group known as "{The Wild Women"). She also loved travel and had been from the Amazon to Norway and numerous countries in between.
A memorial service will be held on November 17, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Claremont United Methodist Church, 211 W Foothill Blvd., Claremont, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Parkinson"s Disease Association, or to The Youth Theater Works at Claremont United Methodist Church.
