RANDY DRAGER Obituary

Born on October 23, 1952 in San Fernando, California, and left us on May 1, 2010, after 44 years of living with the challenges of Diabetes. Randy grew up and lived in the San Fernando Valley much of his life. He graduated from Sylmar High School, attended Cal Poly SLO, obtained his MS degree and was a PhD candidate in biochemistry at Purdue University. His passions were surfing, science and music. He is survived by his parents, Kenneth and Vonnie, as well as a sister, Sandy. He will be missed, especially for his sense of humor and sharp wit. Condolences may be left with the family at: 10101 NE Covington Rd., Vancouver, WA 98662.

Knowing Randy the last 10 years has enlightened me as to how a person with a debilitating disease can still maintain a wonderful outlook on life, knowing their time with the Lord is forthcoming. Randy was gifted in many ways and it was a priviledge to have known him and to have been able to have called him a friend.
