The whole family enjoyed racing their own stock cars and have several championships to their credit. He was a master mechanic and craftsman, building wooden weather vanes and bird houses for fun, giving them to all the family members. Along with his working hands, he always had a helping hand for others wherever and whenever things needed to be done.
