George Rupert

Obituary Condolences

It is with great sadness that the Family of George Rupert announces his sudden passing at the age of 80 years old. George will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Ursula; daughters, Justine and Tracy; grandchildren, Steve, Scott, Jocelyn, Caitlin and Ryan; great grandchildren, Jordan and Aubrey; and countless other family members and dear friends.

George was a tank mechanic in the Army and left his indelible mark all over Southern California as a Plumber since 1960. Anyone that crossed paths with him were touched by his loving heart, gracious generosity and his incredible ability to make you feel special. He will always be remembered as a man that would literally drop whatever he was doing in order to help someone else out, truly a rare and precious quality.

He loved spending time with his grandchildren, watching football and working on his 1949 Studebaker.

Father Sean Flanigan once said that George "has a free ticket to Heaven" as he stood by his beloved wife Ursula for 51 years through her battle with schizophrenia. His fierce loyalty and unwavering support as a loving husband, devout Catholic, and his faith in God are a true testament of his character. George will be deeply missed by all.
