Obituary

Sue Lynn Fordyce Danner 1949-2010 Sue Lynn Fordyce Danner, of Beaverdam, Virginia went home to be with her Heavenly Father and the arms of her awaiting family, most unexpectedly on May 15, 2010. Sue was preceded in death by mother, Gerry; father, Harles; and brother, Ted. She is survived by her husband, William Alan Danner, of Beaverdam; a brother, Henry Lewis Fordyce; a daughter, Kristen Ramacco; two sons, Paul Danner and James Danner; eight grandchildren, one great- granddaughter, and many nieces, and nephews. Sue Lynn was born in Waynesburg, PA on August 13, 1949, moved to Florida at a young age and by the age of ten was living in Lompoc. She was a 1967 graduate of Lompoc SHS, graduated from Allan Hancock in 1969 with an AA degree, and Cal State Long Beach in 1972 with a BA in anthropology. After college she was married for many years to Chris Reed. She lived in Long Beach on Freeman Avenue from 1973 to 2005 and spent most of her adult life working as a medical assistant for Dr. Jerry Hughes. Her husband, William met her in 1962, married her in 2007 and loved and cherished her dearly. She was unselfish, caring, bright and cheerful and will be sorely missed by her large circle of friends and family. Services will be with friends and family at various places across the country as Sue Lynn chose to have a few small memorials at different locations she loved.
