Anna Rose LaRue passed away on June 19, 2012 in Covina, CA. She was born in New Jersey on August 22, 1926 and was a resident of Covina/West Covina since 1955.
Anne was a former FBI stenographer and Business Education teacher at Bassett High School and Citrus College. She loved her family, friends and former students as well as Las Vegas and the horse races.
Anne is survived by 4 children, Fred LaRue of Dallas, TX, RoseAnn Hammond of Chino, CA, Bob LaRue of Chino Hills, CA, Lynn Dunn of Bristow, VA and their spouses as well as 13 grandchildren, Dennis, Kristine, Jacquelyn, Michelle, Danielle, Kimberly, Jeffrey, Melissa, Gregory, Jessica, Stephanie, Vincent and Anne Marie; 1 great granddaughter, Savanna and one great grandchild on the way. Anne is also survived by her sister, Josie Contorino of Chester, NY, her sister in-law, Alice Murabito, of Ponce Inlet, FL, and brothers-in-law, Jim and Bob LaRue of
Tucson, AZ; many wonderful nieces and nephews and fantastic friends, neighbors and former students.
Anne was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Leo, in 2010, her son Daniel in 2002, her parents Carmela and Vincent Murabito, brothers Sam, Tony, Frank and sister, Millie Torrisi.
Services: Rosary July 2nd, 6:00 -8:00 at Queen of Heaven Mortuary in Rowland Heights; Funeral Mass July 3rd, 10:00, at St. Paul the Apostle, 14085 Peyton Dr., Chino Hills with burial at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anne's memory to St. Paul the Apostle's ministry center, "Completing Our Dream", attention: Fr. Tom.
