LESTER "BUD" G. KERCENNECK
Age 73, entered eternal rest on Saturday, October 27, 2012, at his home in Simi Valley, having lost his battle with lung cancer.
Bud was born to Lester and Helen Kercenneck in Ramey, PA on June 18, 1939 and was a resident of Ventura County for 35 years moving here from Akron, OH. He spent eight years with Rocketdyne and six years with Sears before becoming self employed for 30 years. Bud was an avid golfer and a veteran of the
United States Navy
but he was better known as a well respected business man, a wonderful husband of 50 years and a very loving father and grandfather.
Bud leaves behind his loving wife, Dorene; daughter, Tricia Williams (Brian); brother, Ronald (Pat); two terrific grandsons, Justin and Tyler; and many friends. All of whom will love him and miss him to no end.
There will be visitation time held on Thursday,. Nov. 1st and Friday, Nov. 2nd, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., in the chapel at the Reardon Simi Valley Funeral Home. A celebration of Bud's life will take place at the Reardon Simi Valley Funeral Home Saturday, Nov. 3rd, 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow the service at Eternal Valley Memorial Park in Newhall, CA.
