Justin Drake Shoppa Obituary
Justin Drake Shoppa
Born: May 7, 1988
Gone to Heaven: September 23, 2013
Justin was born in Texas but lived in California most of his life. He attended Cajon High School in San Bernardino. Justin worked as a sign installer, running his own independent business. He loved sports and enjoyed football, hockey and basketball. He raced motorcycles as a teenager and was always a risk-taker, showing off his motorcycle jumps for his brothers and family. As a child, when traveling to Mexico on a missions trip he was so moved with compassion he gave every toy away that he had. This revealed a heart that was always giving throughout his life. Justin received Christ at a young age and continued to love God throughout the twist and turns of his life, even tattooing "Washed by the blood" on his chest. As a young man, he enjoyed working out and staying fit. Justin was a kind and giving person who took care of his beloved "Nana" for several years until she went to heaven. For the past few years, he resided in Las Vegas with his father, where together they continued to build Justin's successful business. Justin was funny and enjoyed making others laugh and be happy. He was an entertainer, always the center of whatever crowd he was in, laughing and dancing. Justin is loved by many. Friends and family will miss him dearly; there will be no replacing him and his great sense of humor.
Justin is survived by his mother, Debbie Hornsby, his father Larry Shoppa, his stepfather, Gary Hornsby, his brothers, Jacob and Luke Hornsby, his grandparents Jim and Ann Laughlin, Mike and Gwen McDaniel, his Uncle Ronnie, Aunt Jennifer, Uncle Allen, Aunt Ashley, Uncle Dustin, Aunt Terri and many cousins and extended family members.
