Maude Moss Campbell, 94, of Jellico, died June 4 at Beech Tree Manor.
She was born May 28, 1919 in Jellico to the late Cadle and Bessie Jane Campbell.
Maude worked as a clerk at the J.J. Newberry store in Jellico for more than 50 years. She was a member of Crouches Creek Baptist Church since 1945. She was also a member of Jellico Chapter #215 Order of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jasper Moss; parents, Cadle and Bessie Jones Campbell; siblings, L.A. Campbell, Charlie Campbell, Nora Lee Jeffers and Dorothy Singleton.
She is survived by sisters, Lora Mae Gilburth and Thelma Elmore; nieces, Lauretta Sue Maiden, Dottie Collins, Mary Tippitt and Artie Jane Walker; nephews, Larry Elmore, Bill Elmore and Tommy Jeffers; several other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services were June 6 with the Rev. Roger Stanley and the Rev. Mike Sutton officiating.
Interment was June 7 at Douglas Cemetery.
Cox & Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
