Nadine Wright Obituary

Nadine Wright, 90, of Caryville, died April 25. She was a life long member of First Baptist of Caryville where she taught Sunday School for more than 40 years. Nadine also sang in the choir and led the GA's for many years.
She retired from the Department of Energy office of Scientific and Technical Information. Nadine was a giving person who was loved and respected by many. Nadine will be remembered for her sweet spirit, her generosity and her love for her church and her family.
She is having a glorious reunion in heaven with her parents, Rev. JW and 'Pet' Wright; sister Mae Taylor; brothers, Neville, Warren, Bob and Gene Wright and nephews Jimmy Taylor and Jack Wright.
She is survived by her sister Marguerite Wright of Caryville; nephew Jody Wright and wife, Kim, of Clinton; niece Julie Minton and husband, Steve, of New Tazewell; very special grand-nieces and nephew Lauren and Mollie Wright of Clinton and Michael Minton of New Tazewell.
Funeral services were April 27 with the Rev. Wes Mattie and Dr. TD Hooker officiating. Interment was at Campbell County Memorial Gardens.
Cross-Smith Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
