Charles Oscar Gulley, 69, of Clairfield, died Sept. 5 at the Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. He was born July 25, 1944 in Valley Creek. He was a member of Clairfield Freewill Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Nannie Hatfield Gulley; brothers, Floyd, Lloyd, Estel, Elmer, Roy and Ellis Gulley; sisters, Gracie Hatfield and Marie Gulley.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Taylor Gulley of Clairfield; daughter, Angela Gulley Marlow and husband Donnie of Duff; son, Oscar Gulley and wife Melinda of Clairfield, grandchildren, Dusty Marlow and wife Valorie of Duff, Ashley Osborn and husband DJ of Jellico, Amber Kingand and husband Eric of Duff; great grandchildren, Kendall Osborn, Isaiah King, Dakota Marlow, Khloe Marlow; brothers, JC Gulley and wife Pam of Ohio, Junior Gulley and wife Janice of Clairfield; sister, Ellen Hatfield and husband J.B. of Clairfield, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn his passing.
Funeral services were Sept. 7 with the Rev. Roger Hurst and the Rev. Travis Miller officiating. Interment was in Rogerston Cemetery.
Harp Funeral Home was in charge of arrangments.
