Christine Williamston Lowe, 90, of Caryville, died March 21. She was a member of Indiana Avenue Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She loved sewing, taking care of her flowers and listening to gospel music.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Martie and Nannie Violet; brother, Oliver Violet.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Bob Carroll of Caryville; son, Hershel Williamston of Caryville; daughter-in-law, Linda Gail Williamston of Orlando, Fla.; grandson and wife, Jeff and Sherry Carroll of Lake City; grandson, Robert Carroll of Caryville; granddaughter and husband, Tina and Vaughn Becker of Clinton; grandson and wife, Hershel and Melissa Carroll of LaFollette; grandson, Michael Green, of LaFollette; grandsons, Hershel Lee and Marty Williamston of Orlando, Fla.; grandson, Bryant Barns of Caryville; great-grandchildren Branden, Latosha, Jack Carroll, Tanisha and Sklyar Carroll, Josh Cox, Andrew Wright, Jansen Phillips, Angela, Ashley, Tyler Williamston and Gabby McCoy; one great-great granddaughter, Sophia Boruff; special friend, Billy Duncan.
Funeral services were March 23 with the Rev. Ronnie Freeman officiating. Interment was March 24 at Bakers Forge Cemetery.
Cross-Smith Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
