Ebert H. Beeb Bruce

Ebert H. Beeb Bruce, 87, of LaFollette, died Jan. 27.
He was born July 16, 1926. He was a member of Alder Springs Baptist Church and WWII Army veteran. He was retired from public works and a lifelong farmer who enjoyed farming and raising his garden.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Rosa Parker Bruce; brother, Clayton and wife, Walsie Bruce; brother-in-law, Charles Collins; nephews, Billy Collins and Eddie Bruce; niece, Loraly Collins.
He is survived by wife of 65 years, Willie Ruth Mynatt Bruce; brother, E.F. and wife, Ruth Bruce, of Powell; sister, Agnes Collins, of Nashville; several nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly; special friends, Bill and Freda Hendon, Margie Chapman, Brad Carroll, Brian Parker and Jack Miller.
Visitation will be at 6 p.m. Jan. 30 at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with funeral services following at 8 p.m. with the Rev. Hobart McCreary officiating.
Interment is at noon Jan. 31 at Campbell Memorial Gardens with military honors by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
