Frank Wesley Nunn, 75, of LaFollette died Dec. 1, at UT Medical Center. Frank retired from the United States Army as a Staff Sergeant after twenty-one years of honorable service. He worked for ten years as a strip miner and three years as a bulldozer operator with the Campbell County Road Department.
He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Debra Gail; parents John and Lurie Nunn of Stinking Creek along with fourteen brothers and sisters.
He is survived by wife of almost fifty-five years, Hazel Mae (Smith) Nunn; daughters, Cora Lea Orick of LaFollette and Helga Ann Paul and husband Charles of Kingston, Tenn.; grandchildren, Joseph Orick and wife Chesney, Tabitha Russell, Craig Orick and wife Starla all of LaFollette, Heather Collett and husband Chris of Knoxville, Tenn. and Tiffany Klein and husband Josh of Kingston, Tenn.; great-grandchildren, Zack Russell, Brianna Orick, Alyssa Orick; brother: Richard Red Nunn and wife Marie of Peshastin, Wash.
A host of family and friends including his two beloved dogs, Bear Bear and Sally.
Funeral services were Dec. 4 at Cross-Smith Chapel with Bishop Delmus Bruce officiating.
Graveside services 11 AM Dec. 5 at Bakers Forge Cemetery with full military honors presented by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
Cross-Smith Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
