Pauline Hembree, 84, of Andersonville, died March 3 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. She was born Nov. 4, 1928 in LaFollette. She was a member of the Macedonia Church in Union County. Pauline enjoyed cooking and baking when she was able and was also an avid University of Tennessee Vols fan. She will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Hazel Byrd Housley; brother, Doyle Housley; sister, Azilee Riggs.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, John Hembree of Andersonville; brothers, James Housley of Jacksboro and Charles Housley of Hazard, Ky.; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were March 6 with the Rev. Kenny Gillum officiating. Interment was at Campbell Memorial Gardens.
Holley-Gamble Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
