Ray Wilson, 81, of Jacksboro, died July 27.
He was a Christian of the Baptist faith and a founding member and officer of CORA. His 16 years of service on the Campbell County Commission was recognized with the dedication of the Stoney Fork Bridge.
He also recently worked to get the Caryville a Norris Lake access ramp.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanine Carroll Wilson; grandson, Brandon Burrows; parents, Mitchell and Lillie Wilson; brother, Lawrence Wilson; sister, Aileen Faulkenbury. He is survived by daughter, Mitzi Booth and husband Richard; brother, Gene Wilson; sisters, Nadine Margrave Geneva Russell. Several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were July 31 with the Rev. Steve Elkins officiating.
