Suzanne Elizabeth Burrell Sharp, 48, of Jacksboro, died Sept. 16. She was a loving wife and mother and enjoyed going to the lake, mountains and beach, wearing a smile wherever she went. A Member of 2nd Baptist Church in Clinton and Teacher for 27 years in the Campbell County School System, with her most recent position being at Jacksboro Elementary School. Suzanne loved teaching her third grade class and was very caring for each of her students.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert 'Bobby' Burrell and mother-in-law, Laura Sharp.
She is survived by her husband of 27 and a half years, Michael Sharp; son, Christopher Michael Sharp; daughter, Courtney Suzanne Sharp, mother, Ann Burrell, all of Jacksboro; sister, Carolyn Daughtery and husband John of Carville; brother, David Burrell and wife Cindy, of Crawford, Ga., father-in-law, Benny Sharp, of Caryville; sister-in-law, Tonya Toler and husband Gary of Lake City; several nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn her passing.
Funeral services are tonight at 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Jacksboro with Dr. Michael Thompson and Dr. Charles Parker officiating. Interment will be Sept. 20 in Campbell Memorial Gardens at 11 a.m.
