Thomas 'Tommy' Ray Tinnel, 69, of Speedwell, died July 1.
He attended Cumberland Hope Community Church and enjoyed a life of hunting, fishing and antique car shows.
He loved to share a laugh, a story or a prank with anyone he met.
He was the owner/operator of Tommy Tinnel Body Shop for many years. He also retired from the Claiborne County School System after 30 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Loucinda Smith Tinnel; brothers, Floyd Haskel and J.R. Tinnel; sister, Ida Mae Dunn.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Faye Tinnel; daughters, Angie Poteet, and husband, Tony, Lori Dossett and husband, David; grandchildren, Chris and Corey Poteet, Dakota, Bryce and Bo Dossett, along with numerous nieces, nephews and many special friends.
Funeral services were July 3 with Pastor Billy Smith officiating. Interment was in Greasy Hollow Cemetery.
Reece Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
