Bradford Lee Miller, 59, of LaFollette died, July 19. He was born in Louisville, Ky., on July 16, 1954. He attended Goldsmith Elementary School and Seneca High School until his family moved to Brentwood, in 1990.

He then attended and graduated from Franklin High School. He graduated from Western Kentucky University in 1988 with a BS degree in Government and Political Science. He was employed at Kuhn's Department Store as manager in Nashville, for several years before returning to school where he received his master's degree in social studies along with a teaching certificate. He had been employed as a teacher in the Campbell County School system for the past seventeen years during which he received Teacher of the Year twice. Brad was an avid history buff, which he read about extensively. He also loved music and was a member of the youth church choir in his teens. Brad never met a stranger as witnessed by his many deeds for others. He was loved and respected by all who knew him.
He is survived by his parents, Joseph and Vivian Miller; brother, Douglas; sister, Debra Ellison; also, a nephew, Will Ellison and a niece, Haley Ellison.
Funeral services were July 23, with the Rev. Chris Stanfield officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to the Red Cross Organization or the LaFollette United Methodist Church. Interment was in the Ellison Cemetery, Speedwell.
