Buddy Joe Blankenship, 60, of Caryville, died June 24. He loved his family very much and enjoyed working driving his big truck and mowing the grass.
He was preceded in death by George and Elsie Blankenship; brothers, Jack and Carl; sister, Ruth.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca; daughter, Amanda Johnson; son, Joshua; grandchildren, Hayley, Logan, Caleb and Jeta; brothers; Verlin, Lonnie and John Blankenship; sisters, Sue Ayers and Trula Boyles; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were June 26 at Martin Wilson Chapel with the Rev. Tim Dupuy officiating. Interment was June 27 at Powell Valley Cemetery.
Martin Wilson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
